The Story Behind My Logo
Each person is free to see what they like in my logo and I’ve had lots of weird and wonderful comments about it (turtle, football, gem, diamond, …).
For those of you curious to find out, click here to find out how I designed it to express what coaching means to me.
More About Me and My Background
My Scientific Career
I studied in France, Canada and the UK. I studied Biology and Biochemistry before specialising in Pharmacology.
I have always been inquisitive and enjoyed working on diverse Drug Discovery projects, from botulinum toxin-derived therapies to oncology drugs. Throughout my career in the pharmaceutical industry, I worked in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams, managing people and projects. I have experienced organisations of various types and sizes: from large pharma like Pfizer to start-ups, small biotech, public-private partnerships and contract-research organisations.
Expat Life
I experienced life as an expat. First as a trainee in Montreal, Canada then as an Erasmus student in Nottingham, England and living and working in England and Scotland for almost two decades. In 2018, I moved back to France and experienced the less talked about ‘reverse culture shock’ and what it’s like to feel like an alien in your home country. Today, I still feel that my identity is made of a mix of French and British cultures and I embrace them both!
My Qualifications
Following a couple of first degrees in France and England, I completed a PhD in Pharmacology and Neuroscience at Nottingham Trent University, working on a receptor located in the brain and involved in the body’s stress responses.
After many years in pharmaceutical research, a burn-out led me to some soul searching and I undertook a competency review with a coach which included looking back at what brought me the most enjoyment throughout my career. I realised that it was empowering junior colleagues and other team members. Coaching suddenly appeared like the obvious thing to feel fulfilled in my second career and help others transform their lives for the better.
I completed my coaching training with the ICF-accredited Coaching Ways school to obtain both the French RNCP certification and the International accreditation at the PCC level.
In 2022, I decided to get a specialisation for the coaching of teenagers and young adults. In addition to focusing on coaching neurodiverse individuals (high potential, ADHD, dys…), this course brought me lots of fun and creative coaching tools to use with adult clients as well as younger ones.
Being a Multifaceted Coach
I have always been curious and thriving on variety, refusing to limit herself to fit into a single box. This was true in my research career where I enjoyed regularly changing research topics, working environments, continuously learning new techniques, etc.
It is still true today as I enjoy coaching clients from different ages, different cultures, from business organisations to private individuals. I love connecting with my clients and discovering their singularity: who they are, how they see the world, what makes them tick…
I feel privileged to accompany them on their coaching journey of self-discovery, to witness their transformation and empowerment to achieve their personal and professional goals and be truly themselves.
